w Golfir IV znajomego widziałem ciekawą rzecz - mianowicie jak się szybciej jedzie autkiem (głośniej pracuje silnik) to radio się automatycznie podgłasza.

czy da się coś takiego podłączyć do Audi A4 i radyjka Pioneer 7400 ??
bo niestety takich pinów nie znalazłem ani w radiu - ani w autku

Gdybyś miał oryginalne radyjko Audi to miałbyś to napewno. Takie "bajery" były już w B4 8)

a może ktoś ma dokładny opis wtyczki do radyjka ??? (od strony samochody) na których pinach może być podawany sygnał o "prędkości" dla radyjka ??

może da się to jakoś podpiąć ?

W Blaupunktach jest to na pinie nr 1 w czarnej wtyczce zasilaniowej. Na radiu oznaczone jest to jako GALA (regulacja głośności w zależności od prędkości jazdy) wtyczka A sześciopinowa

We wtyczkach ISO za to jest odpowiedzialny kabelek "po przekątnej" masy w kostce zasilającej.

A w tych z 1993 r.? Bo mam nowsze radio Gamma i podłączyłem biało-niebieski kabelek, ale nie działa - czy możecie zobaczyć jaki jest kolor kabelka GALA tam gdzie działa?

A jeżeli w 1993 r. jeszcze tego nie było to jaki sygnał tam podprowadzić? Któryś kabelek z obrotomierza?

Spojrzałem na stronkę podaną przez Audista i na pinie 5 wszędzie jest sterowanie anteną, a u mnie jak nie podam tam 12V to nie załączę radia - czy to jest coś nie tak w radiu?

Złącza 1,2 i 3 wykorzystane są różnie w zależności od producenta radia (np. 1 może służyć do regulacji głośności w zależności od prędkości pojazdu, 3- tel. mute).

How does GALA (Speed-dependent Volume Control) Work?
This is it. As it appears in the 1997 Audi radio manual. Page 5

The noise level in the vehicle increases you drive faster. In the past, you have had to adjust the volume of the radio by hand.

Now, "GALA" automatically adjusts the volume whether you are listening to the radio, a cassette or a CD in line with the speed of the car.

"GALA" can be switched on and off with the treble control.
* Release button (3) {treble button} by pressing it briefly.
* To switch on: Turn button to the right.
* To switch off: Turn button to the left.

If you want to re-adjust the volume (e.g. due to different radio stations or cassettes), you only have to operate the volume control "GALA" continues to operate automatically.

* Press and hold the "TP" button and switch radio on. "TA" appears in the display with a bar diagram.
* Press "TP" button briefly. "GALA" appears in the display with bar diagram.
* To increase volume press button at the top. { left of rotary Volume knob} The bar will move to the right.
* To decrease volume press button at the bottom. { left of rotary Volume knob } The bar will move to the left.

* To store the new volume setting press button at top and bottom SIMULTANEOUSLY. {Just press both buttons to the left of the rotary volume knob at the same time}. "GALA" will disappear in the display.
* Switch radio off and on again.

MY COMMENTS,
TRY MOVING THE BAR DIAGRAM INDICATOR TO EACH END OF THE GALA DISPLAY TO SEE IF YOU HEAR A VERY SLIGHT DIFFERENCE. IT'S NOT THAT NOTICEABLE, REALLY.

That's it. Remember it is SPEED dependent. You will most likely only notice that the radio volume LOWERS when you come off a short highway ramp and quickly stop at a light.

They should have made it sensitive to cabin NOISE. That way we could leave our windows down and notice the effect.

GALA explained

Unfortunately the manual is not entirley correct, and certainly incomplete, when it comes to adjusting the GALA funtions of the Delta radio.

Firstly, following the above instructions (pressing and holding the "TP" button while switching the radio on) actually brings up a display showing the text "GALA". This sets control of the vehicle speeds at which the volume is automatically adjusted. Move the indicator bar using the up & down buttons to the left of the volume control. Moving the bar all the way to the left causes the volume to increase at lower speeds (recommended by author). Make adjustments as required and store by pressing the two buttons to the left of the rotary volume knob at the same time (the text "GALA" will be extinguished).

Now, pressing the "TP" button again allows the setting of the amount of volume change made by the GALA system. The display will change to "VOL" Again move the indicator bar using the buttons as above - bar to the right causes a greater volume change as speed increases (recommended). Adjust as required and again press the two buttons to the left of the rotary volume knob at the same time to store ("VOL" will be extinguished). Turn the radio off and on again to resume normal radio operation.

If both these adjustments are set with their bars at the leftmost positions, the volume of the radio will be boosted by 1dB at 30mph, 2dB at 50mph and 3dB at 60mph (possibly more at even higher speeds - I haven't checked!).

Lastly, you can get a visual check of the effect of your adjustments by turning off the radio, then pressing and holding the channel "2" button while switching the radio on. The display "GALA" will then be shown along with the volume level adjustment in dB (eg "GALA 0DB" when the vehicle is at rest). You will see the display change as your vehicle speed increases and decreases. Turn the radio off & on again to remove this GALA display.
